About Gen B Happy Paws
Proud dog mama, lifelong animal lover, and certified, licensed, and insured pet care professional. With over 20+ years of experience in grooming and caring for pets, I specialize in small to mid-size breeds, senior pets, and dogs with anxiety, as well as providing in-home care for large dogs and cats.
After leaving Corporate America in 2020, I followed my lifelong dream of working with animals full-time fulfilling my Grandma Claire’s wish for me to “find what you love and do it.” Today, I’m grateful to provide safe, loving, and stress-free care for pets across Menifee, Sun City, Winchester, Murrieta, and surrounding areas.
At Gen B Happy Paws, pets aren’t just clients they’re family.

Ongoing Education & Advanced Training
-
Specialized training in caring for senior and medically sensitive pets, with a focus on safety, comfort, and quality of life. Education includes recognizing early signs of decline, mobility support techniques, medication administration, monitoring chronic conditions (such as Cushing’s disease, diabetes, and dementia), and providing low-stress handling for anxious or vision-impaired pets.
This training emphasizes proactive observation, gentle grooming adjustments, clear communication with pet parents, and knowing when veterinary follow-up is necessary. Care is delivered with patience, structure, and deep respect for the unique needs of aging and special-needs companions.
-
Trained in safe and accurate medication administration, including oral medications, topical treatments, and injectable support when prescribed. Education includes understanding dosing protocols, monitoring for side effects, and clear documentation for pet parents.
Additional focused training in feline diabetes care, including recognizing symptoms of blood sugar imbalance, proper insulin handling, feeding coordination, and knowing when veterinary intervention is necessary. Care is delivered with precision, calm handling, and close attention to detail.
-
Trained to recognize early signs of dental disease, gum inflammation, oral discomfort, and changes in eating behavior that may indicate underlying issues. Education includes preventative dental awareness, senior pet oral health considerations, and knowing when veterinary evaluation is recommended.
Also trained in performing thorough head-to-tail wellness checks to monitor skin, coat, eyes, ears, mobility, weight changes, and overall condition—supporting early detection and proactive communication with pet parents.
-
Trained to provide compassionate support for pets in their senior or end-of-life stages, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Education includes recognizing pain and discomfort signals, mobility assistance, hygiene support, medication routines, and maintaining calm, low-stress environments.
Care is delivered with patience, emotional sensitivity, and clear communication with pet parents—supporting both the pet and the family during difficult transitions.
I believe professional pet care requires continuous learning because your pet’s health and safety deserve more than basic supervision.
