Grooming prices at Gen B Happy Paws are based on your dog’s size, coat condition, behavior, and the grooming package selected.

Our grooming services are offered in three packages:

• Pawfect Tidy Up – starting at $65

• Pawfect Glow Up – starting at $85

• Pawfect Pamper – starting at $110

Dogs over 20 lbs may start at a higher rate within each package.

Because every dog is different, final pricing may vary if additional time, care, or special handling is required due to coat condition, matting, shedding, or behavior.

Most grooming appointments take approximately 2–3 hours, depending on your dog’s breed, size, coat condition, and temperament.

First-time grooming appointments may take longer, as we take the time to work at your dog’s pace, build trust, and ensure a calm, stress-free experience.

Once your dog is established on a regular grooming schedule, appointments are typically closer to 1.5–2 hours, assuming the coat is well maintained and no additional services are needed.

Every grooming service includes:

• A thorough two-shampoo bath and conditioner

• Blow dry and brush-out

• Nail trim

• Basic ear cleaning

• Sanitary trim (face, feet, and potty area)

• A calm, one-on-one grooming environment

For most dogs, grooming every 4–8 weeks helps maintain coat health, prevent matting, and keep skin and nails in good condition. The exact schedule depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle — we’ll recommend the best plan for you after your first appointment.

Toenail trims are recommended every 3-4 weeks — no longer — as overly long nails can affect the way your fur-baby walks and may even impact the bone structure in their feet.

Yes! We have experience and training in handling anxious pets, senior dogs, and those with medical or mobility challenges. We take our time, use gentle handling techniques, and provide plenty of breaks to ensure your dog feels safe and comfortable throughout the grooming process.

For dogs with special needs or certain physical conditions, we also use a grooming hammock when appropriate. This supportive sling helps safely hold your dog in place, reduces pressure on sore joints, and allows us to trim nails or groom sensitive areas with less stress on your pup’s body. Many dogs find the hammock comforting, as it provides gentle support and stability during the grooming process.
